These plates are rigorously tested by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to ensure they meet specific standards for ballistic resistance. Level III plates are capable of stopping rifle rounds such as 7.62x51mm NATO and are commonly used by military and law enforcement personnel operating in high-threat environments. They offer a higher level of protection compared to Level II plates, which are primarily designed to stop handgun rounds. However, it’s important to note that Level III plates may not be effective against armor-piercing or specialized rifle rounds.

– 30x25x2.5cm SAPI cut (standard size) fits most carriers
– Standalone plate (does not need any other armor)
